Melissa Altro is a Toronto-based voice professional with 30 years in the VO industry—bringing characters to life behind the mic, guiding talent as a coach, and shaping performances as a casting and voice director. 

 

She’s best known as the original—and only—voice of Muffy Crosswire on PBS’s Emmy Award–winning Arthur, bringing 25 years of sharp wit, sparkle, and unapologetic attitude to the role. She also voiced the fearless Pippi Longstocking in the animated feature film and TV series, giving the character her signature blend of heart, humour, and horse-lifting strength.
