VOICE PRO
Melissa Altro is a Toronto based voice professional with
30 years of experience in the VO industry.
She's an accomplished voice actor best known as the original—and only—voice of the iconic Muffy Crosswire on PBS’s Emmy Award–winning series Arthur. For 25 years, Melissa brought Muffy’s sass, sparkle, and wit to life. She also voiced the fearless Pippi Longstocking in the animated feature film and TV series, bringing warmth, charm, and enough strength to lift a horse (literally!) to a beloved childhood favourite.
Beyond the booth, Melissa specializes in casting and voice directing for Animation, Commercials and Gaming.
As a VO coach, Melissa's blend of expertise, positive energy and passion helps both seasoned pros and newcomers shine in the world of voice.
